Dagger Down: Matthew Pins Simon and Makes the Hunt Personal The lawyer and masseuse masks are gone. In the hotel room, Matthew and Simon face each other with guns drawn, then close the distance until it's skin, breath, and brute force. Simon tries to use his combat training to take Matthew down, but Matthew twists the dagger from his hand and slams him to the floor. Pinned under Matthew's weight, Simon hears something worse than a death threat: possessive interest. Matthew isn't just trying to kill him. He wants to own the chase. The dangerous love-hate between them locks in, and neither man reaches for the door. Matthew has Simon pinned, dagger at his throat—will he finish the contract, or does he want Simon alive for something far more dangerous?
