The Elf Queen Hidden in an Apron Faces Her Husband's Triumph Freya Windsor has spent three years hiding a battlefield legend behind aprons and ledgers. She buried her elven blood the night her mother died, then traded House Windsor's war honors to buy Elliott Gray an earldom. Now Elliott rides home victorious—with Olivia Frost, the kingdom's celebrated swordsman, at his side. Before the court, he names Olivia his love and turns Freya into a joke: a mediocre wife, a useless countess. The nobles laugh. Freya stands alone in the wreckage of her marriage, her mother's dying wish warring with the power under her skin. She does not bow. But when Elliott calls her unworthy, something old and dangerous stirs. Elliott parades Olivia before the court and calls Freya unworthy—how long can Freya keep her elven power buried?
